Overview

Vancouver (Canada) – Elizabeth Reid joins Fasken as a partner in the Labour, Employment & Human Rights (LEHR) group.

Elizabeth has extensive experience in both the solicitor and advocacy aspects of the LEHR practice. With significant technical experience, she advises clients on the complex employment and human rights laws that impact employer-employee relationships. She provides counsel on day-to-day concerns and compliance issues, working collaboratively with clients to meet their needs. She also represents clients at all levels of court in British Columbia as well as in front of provincial and federal human rights and employment standards tribunals.

“Elizabeth’s experience developing clear policy and contracts helps clients prevent labour and employment issues,” said William Westeringh, QC, Regional Managing Partner, BC Region. “Combined with her knowledge of judicial decision-making processes in litigation work, she is a great addition to our LEHR team.”

Our Labour, Employment and Human Rights practice is one of the largest national practices in Canada. We also act on behalf of foreign companies, offering them representation services and advice designed to help them adapt their human resources to the Canadian reality.
