Calgary (Canada) – The Firm’s Calgary office continues to grow as Lori Bokenfohr joins Fasken as a partner in the Tax group and Rick Pawluk joins as partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group.
Lori works with entrepreneurs and businesses in implementing tax efficient business transactions and structures across multiple industries. She also works with private enterprises and the families that own them on personal planning matters, business succession issues and estate and post-mortem transactions.
Rick practises corporate and securities law including advising on initial public offerings, equity and debt financings, public and private mergers, takeover bids, acquisitions and disposition transactions and business combinations for clients domestically and internationally. He has significant experience in the energy, oil and gas, biotechnology and agribusiness industries.
