Montreal (Canada) – Fasken is pleased to announce the arrival of Mélanie Béland as Counsel in the Commercial Litigation practice group at our Montreal office.
Mélanie has over 20 years of experience in securities, banking and commercial litigation, including 12 years as a prosecutor for the Litigation Department of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). As part of her practice at the AMF, Mélanie was called upon to manage numerous complex and high-profile cases in administrative and criminal matters.
This expertise has also led her to write a detailed guide and to provide training related to bankruptcy and insolvency for Canadian securities regulators.
