Toronto (Canada) – Alex Pankratz joins Fasken as partner in the Tax group at the Firm’s Toronto office.
Alex’s practice focuses on international tax planning, M&A, reorganizations and financings. He advises multinational corporations that have operations in Canada on tax issues. He has over 25 years of experience and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant. Alex provides counsel to clients in the digital economy, infrastructure, resource, healthcare, consumer product and retail spaces. He appears before the Canada Revenue Agency and represents clients seeking legislative amendments from the federal Department of Finance.
