Toronto (Canada) – Abbas Kassam joins Fasken as counsel in the Intellectual Property (IP) group at the Firm’s Toronto office.
Abbas’s practice focuses on litigating intellectual property and public law disputes. His broad spectrum of litigation experience encompasses mandates in both federal and provincial jurisdictions. He has acted as lead counsel in Federal Court litigation in various industry sectors including oil and gas and consumer products. He has also acted as counsel on trials assessing damages arising from pharmaceutical patent disputes.
