Quebec City (Canada) – Fasken is pleased to announce that its Quebec City office won the Award of the Year at the 16th edition of the Grands Prix du Design, the contest’s highest distinction. The award is presented to the project that wins over a jury of designers, architects, leading academics and members of the press from around the world. In addition to receiving the Award of the Year, the LemayMichaud architecture and design firm, in collaboration with the Fasken team in Quebec City, won the following awards:
- Grand Prix International in the Office: Professional & Financial Service Firms category
- Platinum Award in the Office: Professional & Financial Service Firms category
- Award by the Public, which Fasken members voted for.
This contest, one of the most respected in the industry, acknowledges the excellence of international designers and architects whose exemplary practice sets them apart. Candidates from over 35 countries have participated in the contest over the years. The winners were announced at a gala event in Montreal on October 19.
