In addition to her roles in the Labour, Employment and Human Rights Group, Karen has also held various additional leadership positions such as Chair of Ontario’s Professional Development Committee. Her focus throughout her time at Fasken has been, and will continue to be, delivering excellent client service through a shared sense of purpose, while maintaining  the unique culture at Fasken.

Karen takes over from Martin Denyes, who led the Ontario region for 13 years and who will now step into the role of Firm Managing Partner. During Martin’s time as Regional Managing Partner, he has worked proactively to enhance and build relationships with the region’s clients and in its communities.

Fasken announced several new leaders in both Firm-wide and regional positions with the Regional Managing Partners in Alberta and South Africa remaining in place. This provides both continuity and momentum for the Firm as it continues its growth trajectory into the future.

“The Partnership Board would like to congratulate all of the leaders and looks forward to collaborating across the Firm as we continue to support our clients’ success across markets and ensure we are well-positioned to meet future needs,” said Katherine M. Pollock, Chair of the Firm’s Partnership Board. “We would also like to extend our gratitude to their predecessors for their invaluable leadership.”
