Toronto (Canada) – Marie-Josée Neveu succeeded Katherine Pollock as Chair of Fasken’s Partnership Board on January 1, 2024. As the representatives of the partners of the Firm, the Partnership Board has the responsibility and accountability for establishing the strategic direction of the Firm, and for overseeing the performance of the Firm.
A member of the Board since 2021, Marie-Josée has been with the Firm for close to 30 years and a partner for 20. She has been recognized for her deep expertise in governance, and sits on a number of external boards such as Centraide of Greater Montreal and Tourisme Montréal. She also advises boards of directors, special committees, executives and major shareholders on various M&A transactions and highly publicized special situations.
The Firm extends its gratitude to Katherine for her leadership over the last three years. In her time as Chair, Katherine’s leadership has been integral to the development and implementation of the Firm’s strategy. She will remain on the Board as a representative from Ontario.
