Montreal (Canada) – Fasken is pleased to announce the arrival of Jean-Philippe Boileau as Partner in the Real Estate Law Group at our Montreal office. Jean-Philippe Boileau has nearly 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, and prior to joining Fasken, he co-founded and managed a legal services firm in the Laurentians. His practice focuses mainly on acquisitions, sales, and financing transactions, as well as those involving real estate planning and development projects of mixed-use residential, commercial and industrial real estate as well as hotels and resorts.
Throughout his career, Jean-Philippe has developed extensive experience in property title reviews, implementation of real estate project financing structures, shared services agreements, servitudes and other real rights. He has also contributed to the development of several major real estate projects in Quebec, primarily in the greater Laurentian region.

Jean-Philippe graduated from the University of Ottawa in Civil Law (LL.L, Magna cum laude), holds a graduate diploma in Notarial Law (D.D.N.) from the Université de Montréal, and is registered on the roll of the order of the Chambre des notaires du Québec since 2014.
