Calgary (Canada) – Caroline Morin joins Fasken as Senior Counsel in the Tax group. She is based in the Calgary office.
Caroline’s practice includes advising Canadian and foreign corporations on a wide range of tax matters. She provides strategic advice to private and public corporations on Canadian reorganizations, Canadian and cross-border transactions and tax considerations on deal matters. Her experience includes structuring of joint ventures, partnerships, exchangeable shares structures, royalty agreements, initial public offerings, special purpose acquisition companies, butterflies and bumps.
Caroline also assists Canadian and international companies with obtaining ruling requests or with requesting clearance certificates with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). She is recognized for her pragmatic advice and her collaborative style.
