Johannesburg (South Africa) – Marli Roode joins Fasken as a partner in the Finance and Projects group in the Johannesburg office.
Marli has extensive experience in the legal and investment banking sectors, and has in-depth knowledge in project finance, renewable energy, leveraged finance and complex corporate debt products. Marli is a highly trusted and sought after advisor, specifically in relation to transactions which are anticipated to be exceptionally complicated or require a high level of innovation and resolution.
Marli was previously a senior associate with Fasken from 2009 - 2012. Prior to returning to Fasken, Marli was Head of Legal and Company Secretary at African Rainbow Energy.
