Montréal lawyer Frank Mariage comments on the impact of deregulation in the mining sector under the Trump administration and its potential effects on permitting in Canada, in an article published in The Northern Miner.
“There’s going to be some pretty bold moves in the U.S. for the extractive industry that will attract investment,” said lawyer Frank Mariage. “If we don’t do the same, then people are going to be looking south of the border for investments instead of north of the border.”
