Ottawa partner Clifford Sosnow comments on the potential opportunities for Canadian mining companies exporting to the US despite the Trump administration’s threats to impose tariffs, in an article published in The Northern Miner.
“[President Trump] is clearly trying to say, ‘It’s time we look to other sources of supply’ [outside of the US] and so there’s openings there for Canada. What does that mean in terms of increased investment in the Canadian mining space? That’s where negotiations come in,” said partner Clifford Sosnow.
