Ottawa partner Marcia Mills comments on the suggestion of baring U.S. companies from Canadian government contracts in retaliation to the possible imposition of tariffs by the Trump administration, in an article published by The Canadian Press.
She comments notably on the limited influence she expects such a measure would have on U.S. policy.
“The Canadian government market is very small for a U.S. supplier,” said partner Marcia Mills. “A major multinational corporation out of the U.S. who has Canadian government contracts, I wouldn’t expect it to be a significant portion of their revenue.”
