Montréal (Canada) — Fasken is pleased to announce that Pierre-Paul Persico has joined the firm as a Partner in the Tax group of the Montréal office. A member of the Québec Bar since 2002, Mr. Persico is recognized for his experience in tax and estate planning and corporate tax law.
His practice involves advising clients on a wide range of matters, including business reorganizations and succession planning, establishing trusts, estate planning (including post-mortem strategies), business sales and acquisitions, and more. His proven experience and deep knowledge of the tax environment, gained through more than 15 years of practice, have earned him a reputation among his clients as a valuable ally in their tax and estate planning.

Mr. Persico is also actively involved in several professional associations, including the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF), the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He completed his law degree at the Université de Montréal (LL.B., 2001) and holds a Master’s in Tax Law from HEC Montréal (LL.M., 2009). He also worked for several years with a leading North American corporate law firm on behalf of international clients, as well as more than 16 years at a Québec firm, where he had the opportunity to enhance his experience and build a vast network.
