Montréal partner Christian Leblanc discusses his recent admission into the American College of Trial Lawyers and the importance of protecting the rule of law and free speech in an interview published in La Presse (in French only).
He comments on how his experience playing tennis at a competitive level when he was a teenager has nurtured his penchant for the law, and litigation in particular.
“I think I still get a lot out of it when I’m in the courtroom. You know, the worst thing you can do is rely on what you see on TV. You can’t be theatrical, you can’t get carried away, you can’t make big speeches, or say just about anything. You have to be effective and make yourself understood,” said partner Christian Leblanc.
