Pardeep graduated from the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law as the recipient of the Law Society of BC Gold Medal. He looks forward to commencing a judicial clerkship at the British Columbia Supreme Court in September 2024.
In recognition of his academic achievements, Pardeep earned Dean’s List standing in each year of law school and course prizes in Constitutional Law, Advanced Advocacy, Health Law, Sentencing, and Legal Perspectives. He was also awarded the Dr. Sherman Jen Scholarship for Law, and the Doug Eastwood K.C. MacLean Law Scholarship for demonstrating professionalism and community involvement.
Pardeep was an involved student in each year of law school. As a volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada, he assisted a youth advocacy organization with a project focused on eliminating youth homelessness. In 2022, he represented TRU as an oralist at the Philip C. Jessup International Law moot competition. Notably, in his third year, Pardeep co-founded the Thompson Rivers University Law Review and served as its inaugural Editor-in-Chief (Editorial).
Prior to law school, Pardeep studied political science, sociology, and labour at Simon Fraser University. Moreover, he gained experience in compliance, investigation, and advocacy through government positions at statutory agencies and constituency offices. Pardeep has knocked on thousands of doors in the Lower Mainland for political activism and fundraising campaigns.
Outside of work, Pardeep loves to read and write fiction, travel, and spend time with his friends and family.
