Philippe L. Desrosiers is an associate in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Philippe maintains a broad civil litigation practice, advising clients across a range of industries. He has experience working on matters involving breach of contract, negligence, fraud, and product liability.
Leveraging prior experience in the area of government relations, Philippe also provides clients with policy analysis and strategic planning for government advocacy campaigns. He has extensive experience working with Global Affairs Canada as an Analyst in various divisions of the organization.
Philippe holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor from McGill University, where he served as President of the Business Law Association and volunteered with the Legal Information Clinic and Pro Bono Students Canada. Before attending law school, he earned a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Ottawa, where he achieved Dean’s List recognition. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the University of Ottawa’s Varsity Rowing Team and served as a Branch Ambassador for the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign.
In his spare time, Philippe enjoys sailing, cycling, and snowboarding. Beyond his adventures outdoors, he is also interested in Canadian and American politics and LGBTQ literature. He is fluent in French and a beginner in Spanish.
