Rachel’s practice focuses on all areas of labour, employment and human rights law.
Rachel advises employers on a wide range of workplace issues, including onboarding and termination, grievance arbitrations, discrimination, accommodation, and wrongful dismissal claims. She also provides advice on employment contracts and policies to advance client objectives and promote compliance with evolving laws and regulations. Rachel has appeared before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Labour Relations Board and the Alberta Human Rights Commission.
While completing her law degree, Rachel competed in the Jessup International Moot Competition, the Corporate Securities Moot and the McGillivray Moot Competition in which she was awarded top oralist. Rachel also volunteered with the Human Rights Project with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Rachel summered with the Firm as well as with in-house counsel for an aviation company. She then articled with the Firm before joining as an Associate.
