Overview

Rémi is an associate in the Corporate/Commercial Group at our Montréal office. With over thirteen years’ experience as an international lawyer, Rémi practices in the fields of corporate and privacy law and is extremely knowledgeable about the technology, media and automotive sectors as well as all aspects of artificial intelligence. Passionate about cars, Rémi is a specialist in the field of autonomous and connected vehicles, with a keen understanding of the legal challenges associated with this industry.

Rémi has accumulated work experience in many countries, including Luxembourg, Israel and Canada, with clients in various sectors such as private equity firms, real estate conglomerates, start-ups and financial institutions. He has extensive experience in the protection of personal information, with in-depth knowledge in international law firms, Rémi’s impeccable customer service skills and strategic approach enable him to resolve complex legal transactions. His experience in Tech has also led him to work with experts in smart mobility, health, telecoms, Fintech, Industry 4.0 and much more.

A prolific author, Rémi has written over fifteen articles on a wide range of topical subjects, from artificial intelligence to autonomous and connected vehicles. Rémi holds an LLM from the Université de Montréal, in addition to having completed a double master's degree in business law and financial engineering from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France), a law degree from the same university and a diploma in American comparative law in partnership with Boston University School of Law. Rémi has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2011, the Paris Bar since 2022 and the Québec Bar since 2023.
