Roxanne McCormick has a varied corporate commercial law practice. Now acting as counsel for the firm, Roxanne was the past Chair of the Ontario Business Law Section.
Roxanne’s principal practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, at both domestic and international levels, as well as corporate reorganizations and commercial and securities transactions.
Providing clients with cost-effective and timely advice, Roxanne advises on major issues affecting their business, often within a tight timeframe.
Roxanne also spent many years on the Ontario Region’s Compensation Committee, Professional Development Committee and Student Committee. She led the Ontario Region Education Committee following the Law Society’s implementation of compulsory Continuing Professional Development requirements for lawyers , helping to co-ordinate Region-wide educational initiatives for all professionals and staff, in the areas of legal education, business development training, technical training, legal project management skills and other practice management, leadership and business skills.
