Overview

Scott Rozansky is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial group in our Montréal office. 

Scott is especially renowned for his in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and start-ups. He has been advising and guiding entrepreneurs, start-ups and their investors on financing and venture capital strategy, and walking them through all stages of company development.

In addition to his extensive experience  in emerging technologies, Scott has an extensive background in securities, mergers & acquisitions and commercial transactions. In this regard, Scott advises clients in many specialized and often international settings, including public and private corporate financing, corporate governance strategies and issues, takeover bids and reverse takeovers, privatization deals, cross-border transactions and regulatory compliance.

Recognized for his outstanding negotiating skills, winning tactics and innovative solutions, Scott has also been recognized by renowned legal directories, particularly in the fields of corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, securities and financial technology.

Prior to joining Fasken, Scott was a partner at an international firm, co-leader of the Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies group and leader of the national Technology, Media & Telecommunications team.
