3GUpload relaunches as Mixxer, after using US$20 million in venture capital from VantagePoint to buy out Mophone

On June 7, 2006, 3GUpload relaunched as Mixxer, after using $20 million in venture capital from VantagePoint to buy out Mophone and bring some of the company's community features into its fold. Mophone was advised in this transaction by a team from Fasken Martineau comprised of by Keith Spencer, Iain Mant, Frank Schober, Michelle Mullen and Doran Ingalls.
