CTVglobemedia sells CLT to Corus

On September 1, 2008 CTVglobemedia Inc. completed the sale of CLT (Canadian Learning Television) to Corus Entertainment Inc. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approved the acquisition on August 22, 2008, and Corus took over ownership and operation of CLT concurrent with the completiton of the sale. CTVglobemedia was advised in this transaction by Fasken Martineau with a team led by Roxanne McCormick and including Sean Stevens and student-at-law Jessica Catton (corporate/securities and M&A).
