N-able acquired by SolarWinds for US$120 million

On May 24, 2013, N-able Technologies International, Inc. (N-able), was acquired by SolarWinds WorldWide, LLC, a NASDAQ listed company, for US $120 million in an all cash transaction. N-able currently serves more than 2,600 managed service providers (MSPs) and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada with additional offices in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Australia. N-able was advised by Fasken Martineau with a team led by Virginia Schweitzer and including Robert Chapman and Sean McGurran, with assistance from Christopher Steeves on tax matters and Brian Smeenk on employment matters.
