On December 9, 2013, Emily Carr University, in collaboration with Partnerships BC, released the RFP for the design, build, finance and maintain (DBFM) redevelopment project in British Columbia. The new home of Emily Carr University of Art + Design at Great Northern Way will be an integrated and sustainable campus environment. The buildings will occupy approximately 26,600 square metres and accommodate 1,800 degree students and 3,000 continuing education students. Fasken Martineau advised Emily Carr University and Partnerships BC with a team led by David Little (PPP/P3) and including Kareen Zimmer and Jasmin Zeng (P3).
