F.D.L. Compagnie's multi-residential portfolio sold to CAPREIT for US$490 million

Fasken Martineau advised F.D.L. Compagnie Ltée and its affiliates in the marketing and sale to CAPREIT Limited Partnership, for the price of $490 million, of a portfolio of multi-residential and commercial buildings comprising more than 51 properties and over 3,600 residential units, concentrated in three central Montreal residential sub-markets: Montreal’s downtown core, Côte-des-Neiges and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. As the seller’s longstanding legal advisor, Fasken Martineau supported F.D.L. Compagnie Ltée throughout the sale process, from the selection of the professionals involved, to the marketing of the portfolio, all the way to the closing of the transaction. Fasken Martineau acted for F.D.L.
