Between 2015 and 2018, we acted for Les Grands Travaux Soter Inc. in connection with proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangements Act (CCAA) relating to the liquidation of all assets of the company, the termination of projects underway, and the implementation of an arrangement plan that was unanimously agreed to by the creditors.
The proceedings under the CCAA took place over three years and necessitated complex discussions with the bonding companies, the major public clients, and approximately 100 subcontractors.
Fasken represented Les Grands Travaux Soter in connection with those proceedings, with a team led by Alain Riendeau that also included Marc-André Morin.
