Orion completes equity financing with Goldrock Mines for its Lindero Project

On March 6, 2015, Orion Fund JV Limited ("Orion") completed the purchase of 12,578,616 common shares of Goldrock Mines Corp., an emerging gold producer focused on the development of its 100% owned Lindero gold deposit located in Salta province, northwestern Argentina, for aggregate gross proceeds of US$5 million. Orion is a mining-focused investment business specializing in providing flexible capital investment solutions to junior mining companies in the base and precious metal sector. Orion has demonstrated capability in debt, equity, convertibles, offtake, streaming, and royalty investments. Fasken Martineau advised Orion with a team that included Nancy Eastman, John Torrey, Steven Catania and Martin Ferreira Pinho.
