On May 29, 2015, the Federal Court of Appeal denied the Canadian Media Production Association’s application for leave to appeal the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission’s policy decision to remove the requirement for television broadcasters to enter in a Terms of Trade Agreement with each independent producer. Fasken Martineau lawyers Scott Prescott and Yael Wexler acted for Corus Entertainment Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc. in successfully opposing this application for leave to appeal.
