Mr. Harry Hart and members of his immediate family complete the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Hartco

On June 30, 2015, 9187669 Canada Inc., a company indirectly owned by Mr. Harry Hart and members of his immediate family, completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Hartco Inc., following a take-over bid launched by 9187669 Canada Inc. on April 23, 2015 for all of the common shares of Hartco Inc., other than shares held directly or indirectly by Mr. Hart and by members of his immediate family. Mr. Hart is the founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hartco Inc. Hartco has been a leader in the Canadian information technology business for more than 30 years and is the parent company of Metafore Technologies Inc. As one of Canada’s leading IT solution providers, Metafore designs, supplies, installs and supports information technology solutions that contribute to improved productivity and overall business performance of private and public sector organizations of every size across Canada. Hartco Inc. was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Fasken Martineau, with a team comprised of Neil Wiener and Nicolas Cantin, acted as legal counsel to Mr. Hart and 9187669 Canada Inc. in connection with the “going-private” transaction.
