Liquidator represented during an estate litigation out-of-court settlement

We represented the liquidator who instituted proceedings to obtain reimbursement of several million dollars’ worth of claims on behalf of the succession. After obtaining judgment in favour of our client, negotiations took place in order to find common ground between two parts of the family that did not get along. The situation was difficult, but with the support of counsel for the heirs-defendants a solution was found, thereby avoiding a long and costly proceeding, in the best interests of the parties.
