Viathan Engineering buys Akute Power from Oando Gas & Power

Oando Gas & Power Limited sold independent power company Akute Power Limited comprising of a 12.15 MW plant located in Nigeria. Nigeria’s energy sector has been transformed considerably in recent years and it is clear that in this environment private sector investment is critical. This was a significant transaction requiring regulatory consent which was obtained on a timely basis. Fasken Martineau advised Oando Gas & Power Limited; the transaction was led by Abayomi Akinjide.
