The Master Group Inc. (“Master”) has announced its acquisition of the distribution operations of Johnson Controls’ Unitary Products Group (York) branches based in Oakville and Markham, Ontario.
Master has been a leader in the air conditioning, refrigeration and heating sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest independent distributor in Eastern Canada. This acquisition increases the number of Master’s points of sales to a total of 29 branches, 4 sales offices and 4 distribution centres spanning from Ontario to the Atlantic Provinces, and brings Master’s total number of employees to over 650.
