GM Resorts Limited Partnership, established by the Canadian investment and asset management company CM (Canada) Asset Management Co., Ltd., has purchased Grouse Mountain Resort in British Columbia Canada.
Welcoming over 1.3 million guests per year, Grouse Mountain Resort is a thriving four-season business with attractions which include the hiwus Feasthouse, the Eye of the Wind, the Theatre in the Sky, The Observatory Restaurant, the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife as well as high-speed chairlifts, the North Shore’s most extensive snowmaking system, zipline tours, snowshoeing and a mountaintop skating pond.
Fasken advised on all aspects of the eight month long acquisition on behalf of the purchaser GM Resorts Limited Partnership.
