On November 13, 2017, Knowlton Development Corporation (KDC) announced the acquisition of Aromair Fine Fragrance Company (Aromair).
KDC is a leading contract manufacturer of health and beauty-care products with sales exceeding US$775 million and nine operating facilities. The company employs 2,900 people and has its head office in Longueuil, Québec. KDC’s product categories include deodorants, hair care, bath and body, and skin care, and now home and air care, following the acquisition of Aromair. Aromair is a New-Albany-based full-service manufacturer and supplier of home and air care products with over 20 years of global experience.
This acquisition adds a new product category to KDC’s portfolio and offers new market development and growth opportunities. KDC is also thrilled to partner with a company that has very similar operating principles and business culture, quality and innovative products, and highly skilled professionals.
