On February 14, 2018, Brambles Limited (“Brambles”) sold its North American recycled whitewood pallet business to Grey Mountain Partners for an enterprise value of US$115 million. Brambles’ North American recycled whitewood pallet business provided a network of pallet management services in the USA and Canada suppling and recycling over 90 million, primarily whitewood, pallets annually.
Fasken acted as Brambles Canadian legal counsel on the transaction with a team that included Aaron Atkinson, Will Shaw (M&A/Corporate), Mitchell Thaw (Tax), Ralph Nero, Patrick Gannon (Employment and Labour), Ross Gascho (Pensions and Benefits), Dan Law (Real Estate), Huy Do (Competition) and Rosalind Cooper (Environmental).
