On June 22, 2018, Solutions Alveo Inc., a company that offers commerce return management software and does business as Return Magic, announced its sale to its long-time partner Shopify. Following this transaction, Solutions Alveo will join the Shopify Montreal team. Raff Paquin, Chief Technology Officer of Solutions Alveo will join Shopify as Senior Engineering Lead. Guillaume Racine, Chief Executive Officer of Solutions Alveo will join Shopify as Product Lead. Along with them, two more members of Solutions Alveo will join the Shopify team.
Solutions Alveo Inc. believes joining Shopify will help achieve their mission to become the standard for online returns by being able to equip more merchants with the tools to thrive in global commerce.
Fasken advised Solutions Alveo regarding this transaction with a team led by Adam Saskin that included Sandro Muzzo and Jonathan Raizenne acted as legal advisor to Solutions Alveo Inc.
