On December 3, 2018, Gallagher Benefit Services (Canada) Group Inc. (“GBS Canada”), a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (“AJG Co”) (NYSE: AJG), completed its acquisition of the Accompass entities ( “Accompass”), a leading Canadian benefits, retirement and compensation consulting firm. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Accompass offers a full range of health and welfare, investment and retirement, executive compensation, and broad-based compensation consulting and support services to clients throughout Canada. Accompass’ strong presence with both Toronto-based and large national organizations further expands GBS Canada’s footprint across Canada.
