Sensi Brands Inc. completed the acquisition of Medical Marihuana Group Corporation/Medical Marijuana Group Consulting Ltd. from Golden Leaf Holdings

Sensi Brands Inc. has acquired Medical Marihuana Group Corporation/Medical Marijuana Group Consulting Ltd. from Golden Leaf Holdings Ltd. (CNSX:GLH) for CAD 3.4 million on December 31, 2019. As per the transaction, consideration was composed of CAD 1.8 million in cash received at closing, CAD 0.2 million in an unsecured loan, and CAD 1 million in a secured vendor take-back loan. Sensi Brands assumed a CAD 0.4 million note issued by MMG. Fasken advised Sensi Brands in completing this acquisition with a team lead by Paul Fornazzari and included John Webster, Jennifer Parker and Allyson Roy.
