Leading online grocery platform and solutions provider, Ocado Group plc (LSE: OCDO), has acquired Kindred Systems Inc. for approximately USD$262 million. The transaction closed in December 2020.
Kindred Systems, a Vancouver, Toronto and San Francisco based advanced piece-picking robotics company, will join Ocado’s existing technology team to continue to drive Kindred Systems’ growth. The acquisition allows the Ocado group to accelerate delivery and enhance the robotic solutions market for grocery and beyond.
