In December 2021, Fasken advised Carttera Management Inc. ("Carttera") on its acquisition from 677 Burloak Limited Partnership of vacant land, municipally known as 677 Burloak Drive, Oakville, Ontario (“the property”), for development as an industrial site encompassing two buildings ranging from 60,000 - 200,000 square feet.
In February 2022, Fasken advised Burloak-Wyecroft Road LP with respect to a C$60 million mortgage loan from The Bank of Nova Scotia on security of the property.
