On March 21, 2022, Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC, the interactive and digital entertainment company responsible for the PlayStation brand and family of products and services, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Haven Entertainment Studios Inc., a Montreal-based game development studio.

With a team of over 60 employees and growing, Haven Studios will be the 18^th studio to join the PlayStation Studios family and the first Canadian-based game development team to create a new AAA modern multiplayer game for PlayStation.
