Overview

Client

Revera Long Term Care Inc. (operating as Birkdale Place)

Revera Long Term Care Inc. (operating as Birkdale Place) ("Revera"), a Canadian owner and operator of retirement and long term care homes in the senior living sector, defended against a grievance whereby the Labourers’ International Union of North America, Local 183, alleged that casual employees were entitled to uniform allowance. Fasken successfully argued preliminary motions, significantly limiting the scope of Revera's production requirements.

Erin Porter and Justin P'ng represented Revera with respect to this arbitration.
