A syndicate of lenders led by The Bank of Nova Scotia, Bank of Montreal and National Bank of Canada

On December 29, 2022, a syndicate of international lenders co-led by The Bank of Nova Scotia (“Scotiabank”), Bank of Montreal (“BMO”) and National Bank of Canada (“National Bank”) completed a US$1 billion re-financing for NFI Group Inc. (“NFI Group”), a TSX listed company and one of the world’s leading independent bus and coach manufacturers as well as a leading independent global provider of sustainable bus and motor coach solutions.

Fasken represented the international syndicate of lenders led by Scotiabank, BMO and National Bank in connection with this re-financing with a team led by David Ferris and including Nathan Gates and Stuart Brotman (Insolvency & Restructuring).
