Sandoz Canada Inc. (“Sandoz”), a company focused on generic pharmaceuticals and biosimilars, filed claims in the Chapter 11 restructuring proceedings under the Companies’ Creditor Arrangement Act (CCCA) initiated by certain Purdue Pharma entities in the United States.
Sandoz is a defendant, along with certain Purdue Pharma entities and other industry participants, in a number of opioid-related actions in Canada.
