Cars.com Inc., an audience-driven technology company empowering the automotive industry, acquired D2C Media Inc., a leading automotive technology and digital solutions provider for C$140 million.
Cars.com Inc. paid C$105 million in cash at closing plus the potential of additional performance-based consideration of up to C$35 million based on achievement of certain financial thresholds.
This acquisition will help expand Cars.com’s geographic footprint across North America, support the acceleration of its growth trajectory and create significant cross-selling opportunities through rapid expansion of its Canadian dealer base.
