H2O Innovation Inc. completed its going private transaction with Ember SPV I Purchaser Inc., an entity controlled by funds managed by Ember Infrastructure Management, LP, a New York-based private equity firm, whereby Ember acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of H2O Innovation, other than the shares rolled over by Investissement Québec, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and certain key executives of H2O Innovation, for $4.25 in cash per share.
As part of the transaction, Investissement Québec, the largest shareholder of H2O Innovation, rolled over all the shares it held in H2O Innovation and increased its existing equity ownership in the corporation by acquiring approximately $20 million of additional shares.
