Fasken advised Absa Bank Limited, Development Bank of Southern Africa Limited and Nedbank Limited (as lenders) on the portfolio project financing of the development, construction, operation and maintenance of three wind farms with a combined capacity of 330MW located in the Eastern Cape.  The project developer is Enel Green Power and the energy generated from the wind farms will be supplied to Sasol South Africa Limited and Air Liquide Large Industries South Africa on a wheeling basis. The project reached financial close in February 2024.
