Triptyq Investment Management launched Triptyq Capital Fund I, a Quebec venture capital fund with an investment capacity of at least C$40 million that counts Investissement Quebec among its investors.
The objective of this fund is to invest in innovative start-up companies, based primarily in Quebec, that are specialized in the creative technology and entertainment industries.
Government financing, through Investissement Quebec, will be on a "dollar-for-dollar" matching basis with other partners, up to a maximum of C$20 million.
Several partners joined Investissement Quebec to provide financial support to Triptyq Capital Fund I, L.P., including Red Moon Group, National Bank of Canada, Behaviour Interactive, KO Capital, PHI, Mr. Sébastien Moreau, as well as numerous private investors from the creative and technology industries.
